Our Very First Black Eye (and other stuff!)
I still haven't found the time to put together our 4th of July weekend post, but I took some great pictures today that I have to share.
Monday, during neighborhood playgroup, Bray got a little boo-boo. One of the neighborhood girls was playing with a bat and Brady just walked right into her swing. Owch!! I took him to the pediatrician's office the next day and everything seems just fine. Our very first shiner! Poor little man! Yesterday, Memaw and Grandpa brought over a GREAT new hand-me-down for the boys...courtesy of Aunt Diana, Uncle David and cousins Max, Zach and Jack. AWESOME!
Of course the boys had to take it for a spin this morning as soon as humanly possible.

About Me
- Renay
- Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.

You are just such an awesome Mommy. Getting Aiden up to see a rainbow is just the kind of thing that makes for wonderful childhood memories - and your picture of that will be such a memory for you when they're grown with kids of their own!
Poor little Bray's eye! That is quite a shiner - must have really hurt!
LOVE the new Jeep in the family. What a cool, cool gift from Memaw and Grandpa! (even if it's a hand-me-down - obviously Logan and Aiden couldn't care less!)
Hang in there - you're doing a fantastic job even on the tough days!
