Silliest Socks Award
Last week, Logan had “Silly Sock Day” at school. I remembered this as I picked him up on Tuesday (Silly Sock Day being Wednesday). I usually buy only white ankle socks for the boys…makes it easier to pair them up while doing the laundry, plus they go with anything. I had two choices: take all three boys to Target on a hunt for socks or come up with another plan. I proposed the idea to Logan that we make them instead. “Maybe,” I suggested, “we can use markers to make them look silly”. He thought that was a great idea. I proposed funny faces. Aiden and I helped him draw them on with markers as he was getting ready for school the next day.
At pick up that day, the teacher told me that she and the whole class had decided that Logan had the silliest socks!
About Me
- Renay
- Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.

GREAT idea! For some reason, we've always had a random weird pair of socks to wear for this day - but now I know what to do if we don't!
Those are the BEST crazy socks EVER!!
