Snow Perfect

Sometimes I get so irritated at winter…and not just for the reasons you would think. I love the snow and don’t mind the cold – it’s beautiful and fun given the right circumstances. My irritation stems from the fact that it’s usually NOT the right circumstances. Most of the time we have great snow to play it, but it’s far too cold outside. This week, however, has been awesome. We got a good amount of snow, it was warm enough to bundle up and play outside AND, huge bonus, it was the exact right kind of snow for snow balls (plus the guys got awesome snow ball makers for Christmas from Aunt Diana!)

I had to shovel the driveway so I got everyone ready and out we went. Some of the neighbors were out as well so it turned into a little snow play date. Lunch afterwards consisted of grilled cheese and hot soup…obviously. Now that’s a perfect snow day!

I think Brady lost my camera at soccer last week so I’ve been using my phone. Here are some shots and a video I took:

Next time I have to remember to turn my phone sideways for videos. As you can see…this video is in the shape OF my actual phone:

Yes! I want those snowball makers! And I agree - it's seldom that you get the right snow + right weather!

About Me

My photo
Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
