Nana is having a hard time understanding Drago the lizard’s true size so here is a picture of him in my hand (taken with iphone by Aiden) Keep in mind that he is currently about 6 or 7 inches long in total with his tail, but will grow to around 20 or 24 inches:

Last night I had to take another picture of the lizard to send to Daddy who was in California. Each night, when his little heat and “day” lights turn out (via automatic timer), Drago finds a special place to sleep. It’s always different and sometimes amusing. The boys and I like to peek in and find him before they climb into bed. Last night, he literally leaned up against a fake cactus and slept there the entire night (he never never moves once he’s in place and asleep), with his little arms wrapped around the “plant” and his little belly in mid air. Literally….all night!! hysterical! Again, I took this with my phone and had to shine a flashlight into the terrarium to get a decent shot so…hard to see, but you get it I think.
