Sledding With Daddy

This has been the craziest winter! We’ve had a couple dumps of snow that melt within a week. Right now, there’s nothing on the ground. A couple weeks ago, we had just enough for a good sledding trip. Daddy took the boys one Sunday and left me alone in a nice, quiet house. Of course the camera went along. The lighting wasn’t the best.

The boys went to a “new” snow hill (I’m not sure how long it’s been around, but our town built it either last year or the year before). It’s a great place – not too steep and scary, but big enough for a fun ride!

Getting ready to go!

Aiden’s ready for another run!

I wasn’t there, but this looks like a Logan, “that was awesome!” yelling face

Too bad the lighting is bad, you can actually see bits of snow flying up around the sled in this one

I love this picture! Pure sledding joy!!!

When they got back, the boys made “a giant snowball”. It lasted into the next week, but melted away like everything else!

Awesome snow pics! Is it snowing again today? Hopefully you'll get a few more snows in "winter" when everyone is still having fun and not have a terrible April when everyone is ready for spring!

Was that by me? (Ashcroft?) I would like another significant snow...then it can clear up and be spring! :)

About Me

My photo
Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
