The Creation of Family Traditions

Happy Easter! We celebrated, once again, by getting up FAR too early and eating WAY too much candy. Between the hunt at home, baskets, and visiting Memaw and Grandpa’s house, I think the boys are set for candy until Halloween rolls around again! I’ll do a more complete, picture-filled, re-cap later, but I had to post this one picture on it’s own. Brian read a funny article listing various Easter facts one of which was:

Chocolate bunnies should be eaten ears first, according to 76% of Americans. Five percent said bunnies should be eaten feet first, while 4% favored eating the tail first.

Last year, Aiden decided to bite the rear-end off of his bunny and stuff the insides with other candy. All three of the boys thought that was a great plan this year as well. It’s hard to tell because the picture below is from the end of the day, but trust me when I say that our children are obviously in the 4% that think the tail should be eaten first. These bunnies belong, in order from left to right, to Aiden, Logan and Brady.

This seems very odd to me that the least eaten bunny is Brady's. What's up with that! Love the whole candy in the tail business! Aiden is pretty innovative and can obviously convince others of the brilliance of his ideas!

About Me

My photo
Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
