Aiden's Object Du Jour

Every day, and sometimes several times a day, Aiden latches onto a different object and has to carry it around, sleep with it and take it everywhere with him. It's usually a ball, but one day it was a phone rattle and a plastic reindeer he kept calling Rudolph. Yesterday, it was the book Hop on Pop. He was clinging to it for dear life during our nap time book and song routine. He slept with it and then he had to take it with him to the gym. Today...who cares where THAT book went...the object du jour (which he slept with last night) is a spider man ball and a new book...Peter Rabbit!

Here we are ready to go the gym...Aiden has his object du jour with him (and his afternoon milk!)
Hop on Pop...Ready to go to the car!!
Breakfast with the spider man ball!

Logan really wants this monster truck thing he saw at Target last week and I told him he can use the rest of his Easter money on it. He kept saying yesterday morning "I want to go spend my money now...right mommy?! Let's GO!" Because of feeding schedules etc, we just couldn't get out so I had to tell him a little white lie. I'm not sure if you all know, but the Oswego Target was closed yesterday so that they could re-stock the toy shelves. It's true!! :) I guess we're heading there today. L keeps requesting that I call the store to see if they are open. At least we're not going to the doctor's as I had feared. L has a low-grade temp (or did yesterday and the night before). I was thinking maybe ear infection, but the temp is gone today so I think we're in the clear.

Only 2 more days until Brady and I leave for our San Francisco weekend with Denay & Tom!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!

Did I mention that I have the best sister in the world? I got flowers last Saturday delivered to the house...aren't they beautiful?! All that just because I'm willing to chat endlessly about having babies (which is so much fun so why would I mind?!)
The sweet card that came with the flowers!

About Me

My photo
Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
