Oh Baby!
This post is for documentary purposes only.
I have sad news (for me!) Our darling super sleeper has become a royal bedtime terror. A short time ago, I wrote about how Brady's crib side had been lowered and yet, he still stayed in (insert starry-eyed mama who couldn't be more proud). Well...one day he decided to climb out (sigh). We raised the side of the crib again to full height. Peace and harmony resumed. Aaaand then he learned how to navigate the full-sided crib (huge sigh). That day (the day he realized he could get out) happened this past Sunday. Here is a run down of his sleeping schedule since then:
Sunday night "bedtime": 10pm (chased him back into his crib from 8-10)
Party at dawn: 4-5:30am (he showed up at our bedside around 4am. It took both of us 1 and a 1/2 hours to get him back down)
Monday nap: non-existent (his brothers were playing...who wants to sleep?!)
Monday night bedtime: 10pm
Tuesday nap: went down like a champ (I figured he was about 8 hours behind on his normal schedule)
Tuesday bedtime: 9:45
Wednesday nap: same as Tuesday - down for the count..catching up I guess
Tonight: I think he just gave up and it's about 10:40.
Boring boring post, but I had to write it. Brian is going to "super nanny" Bear for the rest of the week...I guess I'll write more on snooze-a-palooza later.
oh and P.S. GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!!!!!! CHICAGO WINS THE STANLEY CUP!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEE HAW. (too bad Brian and I had to spend a good deal of the game running up and down the stairs to put the Bear back in his cage!)
About Me
- Renay
- Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
