Mommy Restaurant – Closed

We have a breakfast bar in the house where the kids eat…well…most of their meals. A long time ago, I started calling it Mommy Restaurant. When Brian serves them up there, he tries to call it Daddy Diner…but that never stuck.

Since we are moving and have no need for 3 31-inch bar stools at the new house, I sold them today (I love bookoo.com by the way! I’m currently collecting money to buy a new washer/dryer!) Anyway, it was bitter sweet for sure!

Here is Mommy Restaurant in some various pics:

and a few days later…Aiden’s first day of Kindergarten (ah…remember when he and Brady gave each other haircuts and I had to shave their heads? good times…good times)_DSC0077

This afternoon with the closed sign posted._DSC0938

We have a kitchen island in the new house with room for smaller stools. The sign below reads: “Mommy Restaurant. Closed for Business. Please join us in June for the Grand Opening of our New Establishment: 39West Cafe!”_DSC0937

About Me

My photo
Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
