Today we Painted
I'm still not up for posting about last weekend's marathon day so here is a little bit of today's morning activity: painting! It's a dreary and rainy day so I didn't even bother getting the older boys out of their PJs until after snack time (around 10:30!). My good friend Karen gave us this big sheet of paper a couple weeks ago. She said that her kids love to trace themselves and color on theirs (great idea!). I asked the boys if they wanted to paint this morning and Logan said "ya....on that big paper from Miss Karen, Paige and Will!!" So....taking Karen's fun advice, I had the boys lay down and I traced their bodies for them. We set up the paints at the table and they decorated "themselves" for a while. Are we all getting the feeling that it's always quite the production around my house (water tables, muddy children, painting at the table)? Well...it's either keep 'em busy or break up fights all day :)
Here are the boys getting ready to be traced (only Bray has on actual cloths...oh and I did too!!) Painting at the table with all the fun rollers and brushes
Not to be trusted with real paint, Bray got a couple things to play "painting" on the window (he later bit off pieces of the roller so that had to be confiscated)

About Me
- Renay
- Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.

WOW!!! What a crazy fun activity! It looks like all the normal happenings there...mom comes up with super fun activity (check), boys make some sort of a mess to be cleaned up(check), Brady beaten up or dirty (check!)....mission accomplished = worn out boys who are all napping and mommy can TOO!!! YEAH!!!
No painted walls? or windows? or little brothers?
not bad
Sweet usage of the pink paper!
What fun! Ditto what Auntie Denna said. Those are three very lucky boys to have such a cool Mom.
