One More Aquarium Trip

Our membership at the Aquarium expires in Feb so we squeezed in one final trip last weekend. The kids love it there and we may renew, but we’ve discussed joining a different place next year (maybe the Museum of Science and Industry) to mix it up a bit.

We’ve been to the aquarium so many times now that Logan decided to be our guide. He grabbed a map and pointed the way to the play submarine…by far his most favorite place!IMG_2314

We hadn’t been to the new show so we checked it out. It was really really cool!IMG_2319

Sadly, the submarine area was closed for a private event until noon. We played in the penguin area and then hit the cafe for lunch to kill time. Look at the cool view from our table!IMG_2322

Aiden stole my camera for a minute. I guess this is a child’s view of mommy.IMG_2327

YEAH – the submarine is open! IMG_2335

The boys played here for a while until we dragged them kicking and screaming to the underwater reef…which they also love so they calmed down once we mentioned sharks and “Nemo fish”IMG_2336

It has been WAY too long since we've been there! That stuff is COOL!

Awesome! Looks like so much fun! I think I've already mentioned how much fun we had taking the boys to Griffith Observatory. It was obvious they felt right at home checking out all the cool exhibits and activities. It's so great that they live in a place with tons of really wonderful things to do and to have parents who enjoy it all as much as they do.

The picture of Brian and the boys kind of looks like an album cover..only Brian kind of ruined it because cool band members don't look at the camera. I like the spread out seating...aiden in the back and Logan, Bray, Brian in the forefront... Now...you just have to come up with a band name!

About Me

My photo
Stories about BRLAB: Brian & Renay, two relatively sane parents, and our three adorable, but active boys: Logan - 9, Aiden - 7 and Brady - 6. I started this blog to document our adventures and milestones for those family members who are far away and can't always share the fun in person. This blog has become my way to keep track of everything in the lives of my growing boys - from the super big stuff that seems the most important to the small things that probably really ARE the most important. I always include tons of pictures because I plan to make a book out of the blog on a yearly basis. Time flies by so fast, I can only hope that these posts will help us remember all the wonderful and silly times we have together as a family.
